Description

The Orinoco Angel Pleco (Hypancistrus sp. L201), also known as the Snowball Pleco, is a small, peaceful, and popular aquarium catfish native to the Upper Orinoco River in Venezuela and Colombia. Recognized for its dark body covered in white or yellowish spots, it grows to approximately 4–6 inches (10–15 cm).

Diet: Primarily carnivorous, requiring a diet of high-quality sinking carnivore pellets, frozen foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp), and some algae wafers. They are not efficient algae eaters.
Environment: Requires plenty of hiding spots, such as caves, rocky crevices, and driftwood.
Behavior: Peaceful, making them suitable for community tanks, though they can be shy and are mostly active at night.
